GRADUATION
Hall Graduation Attire
There are no caps and gowns worn, but this is a special event, so student clothing must be appropriate. Please no athletic shorts, jeans, baseball caps, or flip-flops. The following items are encouraged: long pants (slacks or khakis) or dress shorts, dress shirts or polos, ties, dressy rompers/pantsuits, semi-formal dresses, and dress shoes. Spaghetti straps or strapless dresses may be worn if they provide full coverage and not expose the stomach, and the lower back, and ensure that undergarments are not visible. Dresses and shorts should be manageable in length so students can move around or walk up and down the stairs to the stage with ease. Any gender may wear any type of clothing if they follow the guidelines above.
Bouquets/Leis:
In the past, some graduates have been given bouquets or flower leis prior to the ceremony. It would be greatly appreciated if students could receive these items after the ceremony. This way, no one feels excluded or that they didn’t get the memo.
